Ridiculousness

So maybe it's almost March and my Christmas tree is still going strong in my living room.

And maybe I got so sick of a dirty house and I went on a cleaning rampage; not even my change could escape my wrath. (Yes, I realize that only a crazy person would wash their change. I had no choice! The change in my car was sticky...gross, I know...so I just had to wash the rest! Commit me.)

And maybe Brian Kershisnik was in Salt Lake and we just happened to stop by and chill with him while he painted.

And this guy, who has apparently done a ton of work for LDS temple all over kingdom come was there giving demonstrations, too.

The best thing about him is that he has a severe stutter. He told us about how he had a girlfriend on his mission, and was asked to stay an extra two months. He prayed about it and said he was told that he would be blessed if he stayed. He wanted to know how, and was told that he would earn his living making stained glass. And look where he is now! Trippy!

Steve in bronze form.

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, does it? This is one ugly baby.

I don't know why this was in the LDS Church History Museum, but it was. According to Matt, this guy is saying, "I love my chicken more than I love my church!" If that doesn't make sense, it's because you had to be there.

I love this painting! It's the valley without any buildings except the temples.

Dr. Dan's wife's work was there, too! Too bad she wasn't, because I want to meet her.

Recognize this painting? This is the original preliminary sketch. And the Christus that's in a ton of temple
visitors' centers.

We tried to take a picture to document our date, but it didn't work.

So Matt tried to take a picture, but that didn't work either, mostly because I was pissed he wasn't in it. Apparently Steve didn't like that idea either.

Still green, but better.

Amy and Steefe. And a car. And the temple.

We decided that if we ever ran marathons, we would make up our own runs. Mine is "hands to my side, chin to my God." Matt thinks that's creepy. I think it's awesome haha.
