Park City

Matt and I drove to Park City today to catch the end of the Sundance Film Festival. We had no plans but to drive, and knew that we couldn't afford to eat or see any movies there. But we went anyway, as that is how we do. We just like being together, it doesn't really matter what we do. But we decided getting out of Provo would be pretty fun, and better than sitting around. So off we went. I had never been farther than the Sundance Resort, and Matt had never been all the way up to Park City, so it was an adventure. The drive was beautiful, and the houses there BLEW MY MIND! Anyone that knows me knows that I go crazy over pretty houses. I love architecture and can't wait to buy a run-down old home and fix it up. I love the character, the charm, the quirks, everything. I wish I had taken pictures of the houses...oh well. Anyway, we got there and walked around for a couple hours and came home. Kind of anti-climactic, but it was really nice to go somewhere new with Matt, even if we didn't do anything. I love new places. I love seeing new things. I love experiencing something outside of my world, even if it isn't very different. All in all, it was a nice day, even though I got sick like the second we came home. Anyway, here are some pictures from our day.
