I tend to have crazy obsessions for a few weeks and then drop them. It happened with yoga, swimming, the gym, organic food, this blog (!), decorating my apartment, reading daily, shopping, and more! That's just how it is.
Lately my crazy obsession has been watching The Amazing Race.
I have no idea when it's going to end, but I am head over heels in wuv with this show.
Let's take the obsession a thousand steps further and reveal something extra crazy: I am dead set on getting in shape and competing on the show. My schtik will be that....I will have lost 50 pounds for the sole purpose of winning the race, and that I'm Mormon. Boom. Automatically accepted.
We'll see how long this lasts.........
Life Update: I did not love my new job in July, but I'm starting to really love it. Also, Matt got a job there, too! He now sits literally across me at work. Life.

Yay! A blog post! I have missed reading your wise words. I haven't seen the amazing race but I will if you are on it! I hope you're dead serious about being on the show. Also, I'm glad you get to work with Matt. People will probably start to ask you, "Is it weird working at the same place as your husband?" We get asked that all the time. Not sure why. I just refer them to Jim and Pam. :)
Hi, I stumbled upon your blog while looking for Minute to Win It ideas. I totally understand the several-week long obsessions. I am totally like that too! Especially when it comes to cooking. I'll cook a bunch of different versions of something (i.e. cupcakes, donuts, empanadas) for a while before moving on to something else. Cool blog, looking forward to reading more!
Hey, Kellie, did you know that Doug and I (Matt's aunt and uncle)applied to be on The Amazing Race? We made a video and everything....sadly, we weren't accepted....but we would like to apply again sometime. Good luck!!
Yeah...This blog post reminds me...I don't think I'm cut out for the Amazing Race, Kellie... I'm too uptight...
